Meet our founder, Hannah
For over 25 years, Hannah stood in changing rooms, questioning why her body didn't fit into clothes made for the average UK female (size 16-18).
After 10+ years in fashion marketing, she kept asking why brands neglect larger sizes and why the few that do only offer lower-quality fast fashion.
Researching the market, she discovered that brands offering larger sizes often just grade up from size 8 samples, resulting in poor fits, inconsistent sizing and unflattering cuts.
In 2023 she decided to do something about it and founded RUNE, a fashion brand that focuses on high quality fabrics, fantastic fit and styles that compliment body shape.
Since launching Rune, Hannah has become a vocal advocate for plus-size women and a recognisable figure for plus size fashion.
