Having spent years purchasing cheaply made, uninspiring clothes just because it was all I could find in my size, I was excited to discover Rune. At the time they didn’t quite go up to my size, so I filled out the “can’t see your size?” link. I was over the moon when the dresses were stocked in my size and ordered as soon as I realised.
It was quite emotional, after years of feeling mostly terrible in clothes, to try on something so beautifully and thoughtfully made.
I saw two people the one time I have worn the wrap dress so far, and both immediately commented on how lovely it is.
I’m so grateful that Rune exists and I cannot wait to order more.

This is a stunning wrap dress. So hard to find one for plus size figures that doesn’t gape somewhere but this doesn’t at all. Perfect for the summer and a great full length.

I’m delighted with this dress. It’s a heavy linen with a flattering fit that falls beautifully and has a little swish when you walk. The wrap is fastened by buttons on both sides, so you can feel comfortable it will stay in place.

I’m 5’ 8” and it’s unusual to find a dress that really is a maxi, especially when you get some hips involved. The shape lends itself to being taken up, so don’t worry if you aren’t the same height. I’m between an 18 and 20 and sized down.

I love wrap dresses, but it’s very difficult to find a wrap dress properly tailored to fit a bigger body. I ordered this with high hopes, and it’s better than I’d hoped for. Seriously good quality linen with sufficient weight to it so that the fabric hangs beautifully but, crucially, takes the tailoring well. I love the long sleeves and appreciate the thought that’s gone into the detail of the dress; the Obi-inspired long belt is brilliant - I wish all dresses came with belts like that. Finally, as a tall woman, I really appreciate the length: it’s a proper maxi, with no skimping on the length. Can’t wait to wear the dress - it’s a beaut!
